Kalani is a small team of motivated people who believe that changing things and ways of producing and consuming is possible.
So who are the people working to make this project possible? For our first “Meet the team”, we introduce you Alexandre our e-commerce trainee (who is already leaving us soon… and who really helped us these last 3 months).

1. Why did you choose to do your internship at Kalani?

I chose to do my internship at Kalani because I was interested in the start-up aspect of the company and the fact that the sales were exclusively made on the internet.  I knew that there is enormous potential behind Kalani and I wanted to participate in the evolution of the company, to touch everything, in short to be really at the heart of the project.  The fact that it is also organic added a weight in the balance to make me want to do my internship here.

2. What kind of experience does it give you?

My internship has been rich on several levels. I got to know a sector I didn’t know at all.  Then I could really see how a company worked, especially when it was run by a self-employed founder. I was at the heart of the company and so I could see all the different aspects of it.  My internship has really been an enriching experience

3. What was your favorite part of the internship?

During my internship I took part in a 2-day photo shooting, I think it was my favorite moment.

4. What are your plans for the future?

For the moment I don’t intend to work yet. I will probably do a master’s degree or perfect my skills in a specific field.

5. What are your favorite Kalani bed sheets? and why?

I had the chance to sleep in the sateen and premium jersey. Unfortunately choosing between the two is not possible for me because I love both. The sateen has this soft, warm touch, yet fresh side, while the premium jersey has a completely different texture with this t-shirt material that is extremely soft and pleasant to touch. Whether it’s with one or the other I just want to stay in my sheets in the morning.
